HONESDALE – Jury selection began Monday for a crime that took place 19 years ago.  Jeffrey Plishka is on trial for the murder of camp counselor Laura Roning.

Only two jurors were selected on the first day.  A pool of 150 potential jurors was called for the trial.

Plishska arrested last July, is accused of killing Ronning, 24, whose body was found near Tanner’s Falls.  He was arrested in Virginia, where he had been living.
