POCONO PINES – A Scotrun man died when his motorcycle was hit by an SUV, on Route 940.

Sean Dietz, 21, was riding on Route 940 when the SUV apparently attempted to turn left into a parking lot.  Dietz was pronounced dead after being flown to an area hospital.

The driver of the SUV, Tammy Piparato, 49, of Jim Thorpe, was taken to Pocono Medical Center for blood tests. 

No charges had been filed as of late yesterday.  The accident remains under investigation.
