PARADISE TWP -- Mount Airy Casino Resort announced veteran Las Vegas casino executive John Culetsu has been named Executive Vice President and General Manager of Mount Airy Casino Resort. Culetsu assumed the helm Tuesday,. On Friday, George Toth stepped down from his position as President and CEO of Mount Airy to pursue other career opportunities after successfully guiding Mount Airy Casino Resort through the debut of table games. "George Toth brought a great deal of experience and knowledge of the gaming industry into his role as CEO. We thank him for leading us through the highly successful transformation of Mount Airy Casino Resort and we wish him continued success," said DeNaples. Culetsu spent the past 20 years managing The Crowne Plaza Hotel and most recently The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. He began his hospitality career in marketing for The Meridien Hotels in New York in 1982. In 1986, he headed west to Beverly Hills to oversee marketing for the L'Ermitage Hotel Group. He also spent time managing and marketing The Resorts International Casino Hotel in Atlantic City and The Utell International in Secaucus, N.J. |
