School bus vandalism remains under investigation

BRODHEADSVILLE – Six Pleasant Valley school buses are missing costly catalytic converters, taken sometime during the past week, from the school bus parking lot behind the High School.  The theft could cost the district $9,000.

Catalytic converters are often targeted by thieves because they contain valuable platinum.

Speculation is the culprits were able to crawl under the barbed wire fence surrounding the lot.

State police are investigating.  Anyone with information is asked to call police at 570-646-2271.
