STROUD TWP – Police in the Stroudsburg area say at least $3,000 worth of counterfeit $100 bills have been passed in the area, in the past week or so.  Most of the bogus bills are showing up at big box stores.

Police say there may be five suspects, including four men and one woman, who may be passing the bills.  They may be driving a Jeep Liberty.
