TOBYHANNA – Police arrested a man in connection with an attempted luring of two young girls a month ago. 

Winston Johnson, 30, is charged with two counts of attempting to lur a child and one count of false impersonation, for giving place a phony name.  He is in the Monroe County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Johnson allegedly approached two girls, ages 11 and 13, in a Pocono Country Place, on July 18.  He asked the girls if they wanted to go with him for a smoothie.  The girls fled and reported the incident.
