TOBYHANNA TWP – A one-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 killed the driver, Thursday morning.  Police say it appears Abdul Charles, 25, of Wilkes-Barre, lost control, leaving the road and going into the woods where the car wrapped around a tree. 

Charles was dead at the scene of the accident that happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. 

The accident was discovered and reported by a passing trucker.
