MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP – The man who fled from police following a scuffle last Monday night is in custody.  Corey Johnson, 23, of Marshalls Creek, surrendered to police Saturday.

Johnson was a passenger in a car that was stopped by police.  He was ordered out of the car.  During a search, troopers found a gun.  A scuffle followed.  Corey managed to break free and fled.  He was the object of a massive search for several days.

Johnson faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
