EFFORT - Safe Haven Rescue is a small, all-volunteer group, based in the West End of the Poconos, that finds loving forever homes for abandoned dogs from kill shelters. Safe Haven can always use volunteers to help at Adoption Days, Fundraisers, transport dogs to vet and grooming appointments.  If you have a few hours a month, we could use your help.

Foster homes are urgently needed to provide temporary homes for adoptable dogs.  If you would be interested in volunteering or fostering, please visit the website for more information and applications.
