Rape suspect in court

SNYDERSVILLE – More details were learned, Monday, about the crimes Robert Pugh, 19, allegedly committed against a 13-year-old girl he is accused of drugging and raping. 

Pugh, of East Stroudsburg, appeared in court for an initial hearing on charges that could put him away for up to 60 years.

Pugh is accused of mixing drugs were beverages, causing the victim to pass out, after which he allegedly raped the victim three times and fondled her on two other occasions.  The attacks occurred between last November and January.

The victim and her family appeared in court.  The victim reportedly recounted times she would be passed out for as long as 16 hours.

Pugh remains held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
