DELAWARE TWP – Police are looking for a Dignmans Ferry man who punched a state trooper who had stopped in for questioning.   When the trooper asked Parkhurst for identification, the suspect punched the trooper in the face, then fled on foot. 

The trooper was not seriously hurt.

Kevin Parkhurst, 20, was wanted for questioning about a hit and run crash in Birchwood lakes.  Now, there are felony warrants for aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

Police say Parkhurst could be in Pike County or the Scranton area.  He is a white male, about 6’2”, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
