ROSS TWP – Police arrested Robert Stevens, 45, of Saylorsburg, after a 44-year-old woman complained to police that he assaulted her, then took money and her car.  The woman is a former girlfriend.   

The incident happened Thursday night, in Ross Township, and was reported to police on Friday.

Stevens is being held on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, simple assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
