Federal agencies launch annual fundraising |

TOBYHANNA ARMY DEPOT - The Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC) of Northeast Pennsylvania, which conducts the annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for federal agencies in Susquehanna, Lackawanna, Monroe, Wayne and Pike counties, is now accepting applications for a Principal Combined Fund Organization (PCFO) for the 2010-2011 campaign. The campaign will be conducted September through November 2010. The role of the PCFO is to conduct an effective and efficient fund-raising drive that collects the maximum amount of charitable contributions in accordance with governing federal regulations and policies. Eligible organizations would include federations, charities and combinations of such organizations. The selected PCFO should afford federated groups and agencies represented in the local campaign with adequate opportunities to provide input to the operation of the campaign, to include development of printed material, training, and information sharing. The deadline to submit applications for consideration for selection as the PCFO is Feb. 26.
