MOUNT POCONO – Police stopped a car on Route 611 for an equipment violation.  The odor of pot was detected and that led to a search of the vehicle.

Police found several ounces of marijuana, in bags, and some ecstacy pills.  Also found, a loaded BB gun.

Alex Tirado III, 26, of Stroudsburg was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Tirado is in the Monroe County jail.
