HONESDALE - The Wayne County Employment and Training Center will open its doors on today.  This new facility will house the Wayne County Job Training Staff, PA Careerlink representatives and the Wayne County Veteran’s Affairs Director.
 
The center is located at 308 10th Street, in Honesdale, and is the site of the former Wayne County Work Release Center.  The public may enter the building from 10th street and the Center does have visitor and handicap parking available.
 
The Wayne County Commissioners hope the center will provide the job seeker with a more accessible and modern facility that will provide ample room for training and testing opportunities. With our PA Careerlink partners and the support of Workforce Wayne this new building will meet the growing demands placed upon it by economic factors and the workforce community.
