PARADISE TWP – Several hundred reportedly turned out for the first day of Mount Airy Casino Resort’s Table Games Job Fair Sunday. The event continues today, from 1 to 7 p.m., at the Mount Airy Event Center. Seeking to fill approximately 220 positions, Mount Airy hopes to recruit experienced table games dealers, floor supervisors, pit managers, casino hosts and security surveillance personnel. Applicants are advised to bring their resumes, work history and list of references with them when they register. Representatives from Northampton Community College are on hand for those seeking information on table games training and courses. Although the resort cannot officially hire for the positions until final approval has been granted for a table games license, Mount Airy president and CEO George Toth said the job fair is a first step in building a relationship with future personnel. Mount Airy hopes to add about 80 tables for games such as poker, blackjack and roulette. |
