STROUDSBURG – Police are investigating a robbery and beating that happened late Saturday night, in downtown Stroudsburg.  Police say the incident happened shortly before midnight at the Wachovia Bank on North Fourth Street. 

The victim was found with a serious head wound.  He is in the Lehigh Valley Trauma Center, in serious condition.
