Monroe man killed in NJ crash

HARDWICK TWP – State Police in New Jersey say a one-car accident Tuesday morning, on Interstate 80, killed the driver.  The accident happened about 5:45 a.m. about one mile from the Delaware River.

Donald Cook Jr., 40, of Bartonsville, apparently lost control on a curve.  He crossed into the other eastbound lane, striking a pickup driven by an East Stroudsburg man.

Cook later died at Pocono Medical Center.  The pickup driver was not injured.
