Burglar sentenced to up to six years in prison |

MILFORD - The following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen: Kevin Hairston, 29, of Douglasville, GA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 21 months to 6 years, and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 for the crime of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary. On October 26, 2009, Hairston agreed with two others that they would enter a residence in Palmyra Township and take numerous items of personal property. Joseph Greco, 20, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 1 to 2 years, ordered to pay a fine of $500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 6 months for the crimes of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Theft by Unlawful Taking. On December 21, 2010, in Saw Creek Estates, Lehman Township, Greco kicked a Pennsylvania State Trooper in the chest, and was found in possession of marihuana. In a separate incident on July 24, 2011, in Saw Creek Estates, Lehman Township, Greco took a 5 Speed Northwoods bicycle without permission from the owner. Vincent Pombo, 35, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 1 year and 90 days to 5 years, ordered to pay a fine of $4,500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Driving while Operating Privileges are Suspended, Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana, and Possession with Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia. On March 5, 2009, Pombo was found to be under the influence of marihuana, while his operating privileges has previously been suspended for a DUI conviction. Pombo was also found in possession of a brass colored smoking pipe, rolling papers, a Zig-Zag cigarette roller, and a small amount of marihuana. Paulo Galvan, 32, of Newark, NJ was sentenced to 12 months of probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $750 for the crime of Access Device Fraud. On June 30, 2011, at the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township, Galvan used another person’s credit card to purchase merchandise without permission. John Fleming, 54, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 15 days to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,025 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months and his commercial driver’s license revoked for life for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and several motor vehicle violations. On June 18, 2009, Fleming was found to be driving his tractor trailer under the influence of alcohol on Interstate 84 in Palmyra Township. His blood alcohol level was .092%. Philip Malloy, 43, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 2 days to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. On April 1, 2011, at the intersection of Yacht Club Drive and SR 507, in Palmyra Township, Malloy was found to be driving under the influence and alcohol and in possession of a container used to conceal marihuana. His blood alcohol level was .13%. Kevin Velez-Perez, 19, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to 12 months of probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. On May 9, 2011, in Lehman Township, Velez-Perez was found in possession of a small pipe and lighters. Kevin Parkhurst, 22, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 18 months to 3 years, and ordered to pay a fine of $200 for the crime of Aggravated Assault. On February 14, 2010, in Dingman Township, Parkhurst punched a Pennsylvania State Trooper in the face. Jae Ehrgood, 54, of Madison Township, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 3 days to 18 months, ordered to pay a fine of $625 for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Fleeing or Eluding Law Enforcement, and Unauthorized Registration. On April 28, 2011 on Fawn Lake Drive in Lackawaxen Township, Ehrgood failed to stop his motorcycle when police tried to pull him over with expired registration. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level of .135%. Jessica Delgado, 38, of Godefroy, NY was sentenced to 12 months of probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Retail Theft. On July 16, 2011, at the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township, Delgado took numerous assorted items without paying the full retail value. Dylan Zuckerman, 19, of Milford, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 1 to 3 years, and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 for the crime of Theft by Unlawful Taking. Between December 2010 and April 2011, Zuckerman took numerous guns from a residence without permission. Jason Carota, 23, of Lords Valley, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 14 days to 12 months, and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. On May 25, 2010, at the Xtra Mart on SR 739 and Interstate 84, Carota was found in possession of three spoons, a plastic straw and numerous razor blades used for the purpose of consuming and preparing controlled substances in Blooming Grove Township. Amanda Ellsworth, 26, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 8 to 18 months and ordered to pay a fine of $400 for the crime of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. On February 21, 2010 Ellsworth delivered .70 grams of cocaine to an undercover police officer for $100.
