BAYSHORE NY – A man wanted for a burglary at a Mount Pocono jewelry store was arrested on Long Island, Wednesday. 

Pocono Mountain Regional Police had issued a warrant for Robert Milazzo, 37, of Tobyhanna, following the December 2nd break-in at Diamond Jewelers on Route 611.  Police had received information that the suspect may have returned to his native Suffolk County.

Police in Suffolk County stopped Milazzo for a routine traffic infraction on Monday, but he fled on foot.  Milazzo was arrested on Wednesday and is  being held pending extradition back to Monroe County.
