EAST STROUDSBURG – Police say a man answered a knock at his door late Thursday night then was shot during a confrontation with the visitor.  The incident happened about 10:20 at 164 Prospect Hills. 

Justin Williams, 34, is in critical condition after being shot in the abdomen. Williams was struck by one of the five shots fired. 

There are differing witness accounts.  One said it was a black female with long air, and a black male.  Another witness says the assailants may have been two black males who left the scene in an SUV or minivan. 

Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything to call them at 570-421-6888.
