Several receive multi-year prison terms for drugs, other crimes |

MILFORD – The following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen: Richard McGuire, 60, of Bloomingburg, NY was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 20 months to 6 years, ordered to pay a fine of $2,700 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving Under the Influence, and Driving While Operating Privileges are Suspended. On April 25, 2011, in Greene Township, McGuire was found without a valid driver’s license, driving under the influence and in possession of heroin. Jane Drumheller, 50, of Milford, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 1 to 5 years, ordered to pay a fine of $3,500 and had her driver’s license suspended for 30 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On October 4, 2010, Drumheller was found to be driving under the influence of a combination of prescription drugs in Dingman Township. In a separate incident on June 11, 2011 in Matamoras Borough, Drumheller was found to be driving under the influence and refused to submit to a chemical test to determine her blood alcohol level. Matthew Williams, 19, of Tafton, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 20 months to 4 years, ordered to pay a fine of $1,250, and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. On March 9, 2011, Williams sold 4 ounces of marihuana to a confidential informant for $450, and sold 8 ounces of marihuana to a confidential informant on March 24, 2011 in Palmyra Township. Elaine Peters, 51 of Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 14 months to 4 years and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 for the crime of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. On August 18, 2010, Peters sold 10 Oxycodone Pills to a confidential informant for $150. In a separate incident on October 13, 2010, Peters sold 25 Oxycodone Pills to a confidential informant for $125 in Lehman Township. Meghan Clark, 26, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to 2 years of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $600 for the crime of Retail Theft. On May 4, 2011, at the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township, Clark took various items without paying the full retail value. In a separate incident on May 25, 2011 at Wal-Mart, Clark took a Playstation video game without paying the full retail value. Thomas Marro, 29, of Canadensis, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 11 ½ to 23 months and ordered to pay a fine of $800 for the crime of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. On August 26, 2010, Marro sold .33 grams of heroin to a confidential informant for $160 in Palmyra Township. Kelly Johnson, 26, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to 6 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $100 for the crime of Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. On September 8, 2010, in Lehman Township, Johnson was found in possession of a metal pipe. John Maranilli, 23, of Greentown, Pa was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 11 to 23 months followed by an additional year of probation, ordered to pay a fine of $1,625, and had his driver’s license suspended for 2 years for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Accidents Involving Bodily Injury, Duty to Give Aid, and Receiving Stolen Property. Between April 17 and 26, 2011, Maranilli was found in possession a HP printer knowing it was stolen. In a separate incident on May 17, 2011, in Greene Township, Maranilli was involved in an accident and found to be driving under the combination of Methadone and Xanex. Michael Defreese, 26, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 1 to 18 months and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property. On December 6 2010, in Matamoras Borough, Defreese was in possession of a 19” Vizio Television knowing it had been stolen. Jennifer Haasz, 23, of Scranton, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 2 days to 23 ½ months and ordered to pay a fine of $400 for the crime of Criminal Trespass. In September 2009, Haasz entered a residence in Lehman Township knowing she was not licensed to do so. Jesse Easton, 22, of Gouldsboro, PA was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. On January 24, 2011, Eaton was found in possession of a metal screw top container used to store a controlled substance in Palmyra Township. William Redmond, 30, of Hawley, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 60 days to 23 ½ months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for one year for the crime of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. On January 10, 2011, Redmond delivered 28 grams of marihuana to a confidential informant for $250. In a separate incident on March 3, 2011, in Palmyra Township, Redmond delivered an ounce of marihuana to a confidential informant for 200. Jennifer Vogel, 25, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 86 days to 23 ½ months, ordered to pay a fine of $800 for the crimes of Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Forgery. On June 7, 2011 in Dingman Township Vogel cashed two checks that belonged to another person, and in Milford Borough Vogel issued and cashed three checks that belonged to another person. In a separate incident on August 19, 2011, in Delaware Township, Vogel took 131 Oxycodone pills from another person. Rosa Araujo, 22, of Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 9 to 23 months, and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary. On June 29, 2011, in Lehman Township, Araujo attempted to gain entry into a residence by using her fingernail to cut open the screen and unlock a front window. Roy Burgher, 22, of East Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to 6 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Criminal Mischief. Between September 1, and September 14, 2009, Burgher caused damto the interior of a residence in Lehman Township. Caydele Forde, 24, of Shawnee on the Delaware, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 6 to 23 months, and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 for the crime of Criminal Trespass. In September 2009, Forde entered a residence in Lehman Township knowing he was not licensed to do so. Vincent Collogero, 48, of Middletown, NY was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 6 months to 2 years, ordered to pay fine of $800 for the crime of Bad Check. Between September 27 and October 1, 2010, Collogero issued 4 checks totaling $3,050 knowing they would not be honored by his bank. Thomas Skala, 21, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,800 and had his driver’s license suspended for 2 years for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and the Purchase and Consumption of Intoxicating Beverages. On April 7, 2011, being under the of 21, Skala was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .195%. Joseph Greco, 20, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 6 to 24 months and ordered to pay a fine of $200 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property. On April 27, 2011, Greco was found in possession of a gold diamond tennis bracelet knowing it had been stolen.
