WMH has entry for “The 7-Billion Club”

Greyson Daniels was officially welcomed by WMH CEO David Hoff, right,
and Jim Pettinato, RN, director of Patient Care Services

HONESDALE - Greyson Daniels is in a unique club. He’s one of many babies born worldwide on October 31st who helped move the world’s population to the big 7-billion number. Greyson arrived at Wayne Memorial’s New Beginnings unit at approximately 6:48 am, Monday, weighing in at 7 lbs, 3 oz.

The United Nations is spearheading a global population project to help solve problems caused by rapid population growth—such as water and food shortages. Just 12 years ago, the earth was home to 6 billion people, according to the United Nations, and back in the 1960s, the earth’s population measured 3 billion.

No one knows apparently who is the actual first 7-billionth earthling, but Greyson is definitely in the “club.”
