MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP – An East Stroudsburg man sustained serious leg injuries after being hit by a car which fled.  The accident happened on Route 402, about 5 Tuesday afternoon.

Police say motorcyclist Steven Kraeber was northbound when the southbound car crossed the center line, striking the cycle.  The car fled.

Kraeber was airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital where he is in stable condition.

Police are looking for a Saturn sedan, mid-90s, either black or dark brown.  The car would have damage to the front driver side, including bumper and fender.
