JACKSON TWP – A bear jumped a fence at a home on Livingston Road, Thursday night, attacking a dog and injuring a woman who had just let the dog out into the back yard.   The woman sustained cuts to the head, neck and arms.  The dog was not seriously hurt.

The woman rushed out after seeing the bear attack the dog.   

Game Commission officials responded but could not find the bear or its cub.
