Armed robbery suspect caught, two others still loose

TOBYHANNA – Police have one of three suspects who carried out a home invasion armed robbery Monday afternoon.

Police says the three suspects entered a home at 302 Victoria Drive, around 4 p.m., forced a 22-year-old male occupant into a bedroom and put a gun to his head.  He was forced to the floor, then was robbed of money, jewelry and other valuables.

During the course of the robbery, a gun possessed by one of the suspects went off.  The three then fled.

Police arrested Alex Vigo, 35, no address given, the next morning.  Vigo is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Police are still searching for the other two suspects.
