TOBYHANNA – Police say the driver of a small car that apparently slowed because of an earlier accident was killed when that car was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer.  The accident happened about 3:30 Friday morning, on Interstate 380 south.

The driver of the car, a 61-year-old man from Brooklyn, died at the scene.  A passenger was flown to a hospital. 

There is no word on whether the driver of the truck was injured.
