DELAWARE TWP – Police have charged a Dingmans Ferry man with several crimes after an incident last Saturday.  Robert Lavanant, 51, is accused of firing several shots at a vehicle as it drove past his house at 255 Spenser Road. 

None of the shots hit the vehicle or the 18-year-old female driver. 

Police say while interviewing area residents about the incident, Lavanant allegedly drove his vehicle to the scene.  He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

Lavant is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail, on multiple charges, including aggravated and simple assault and reckless endangerment.
