NY man arrested for selling prescription drugs in Pike County

MILFORD – A Sullivan County NY man was arrested in Pike County on charges that he was distributing prescription drugs.  Frank Bastone, 42, of Glen Spey, was charged with dealing Suboxone, a prescription drug, in the Milford Borough and Westfall Township area.

According to the criminal complaint, Bastone arranged four sales with a confidential informant. On one occasion, he sold 10 pills for $135. On the second date, he sold 24 pills for $240. On the third meeting, he sold 25 pills for $250 and on the fourth occasion, he sold nine pills and 16 Suboxone strips for $250.

He was charged with four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, all felonies.

Bastone is in the Pike County Correctional Facility in lieu of $120,000 bail.

The Pike County Detectives Bureau and Pennsylvania State Police conducted the investigation.
