Shooting suspect identified

STROUDSBURG – Police believe they know who shot another man in the face last Tuesday, in Stroudsburg.  Stroud Area Regional Police are looking for Roberto “Perm” Gonzalez, 30, of East Stroudsburg.

Gonzalez was identified as the man who shot Terrance Tyson, 34, of Stroudsburg, at a gas station on Park Avenue and Barry Street.  Tyson is in the hospital, in critical but stable condition.

Witnesses told police they saw a car approach Tyson, who then went to the passenger side of the vehicle.  Two shots were fired, hitting Tyson in the face. 

Based on witness descriptions of the vehicle, police were able to identify Gonzalez as the suspect.  They say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
