Table game revenues up statewide, but down at two local casinos |

HARRISBURG - The play of table games during September at Pennsylvania casinos generated tax revenue of almost $8.3 million, according to figures posted today on the Gaming Control Board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov. With an average of 930 tables in operation on a daily basis during September, gross revenue from play of all table games was $51,390,966. Pennsylvania taxes gross table game revenue at 16% (14% to the Commonwealth’s General Fund and 2% to local share fund) which resulted in $8,298,316 of tax revenue. Gross table game revenue this September was more than $14.5 million higher than September 2010 when revenue totaled $36,866,126 and there were 236 less tables in operation.
