CHESTNUTHILL TWP – A one-car crash early Sunday morning killed the driver.  William Chapnick, 26, was dead at the scene following the accident, about 2:55 a.m., on Effort-Neola Road, near Bunny Lane.

Police say it appears Chapnick lost control of his car and hit a tree.  Chapnick, the only occupant in the vehicle, was wearing a seatbelt.

State Police ask that anyone who may have seen the accident to call them at 570-646-2271.
