DELAWARE TWP – A collision between a state police car and another vehicle caused minor injuries to two state troopers, and the arrest of the other driver.

The incident happened about 1:15 Sunday morning at the intersection of Doolan and Silver Lake roads.  A vehicle driven by Wenzel Zaruba III, 50, of Milford was northbound on Silver Lake and attempting to turn east on Doolan.  The police car was heading west on Doolan.  Zaruba turned into the westbound lane, impacting the driver side front door of the police car.

The two troopers detected signs of intoxication and arrested Zaruba.

The troopers were later taken to a local hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
