Pike County Court Sentences

MILFORD – The following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen:

Thomas Gallo, 30, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 2 to 5 years, ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 6 months for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of an Instrument of Crime, Retail Theft, and Defiant Trespass. On December 30, 2010, and January 2, 2011 at the K-Mart in Westfall Township, Gallo took numerous video games without paying the full retail value. Gallo was found in possession of heroin and a utility knife used to cut open packages of merchandise. In a separate incident on April 22, 2011, at the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township, Gallo took numerous video games, controllers, and memory cards without paying the full retail value.

Xavier Correa, 19, of Tamiment, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 19 months to 4 years, and ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 for the crime of Burglary, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Possession of an Instrument of Crime, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Criminal Mischief. Correra and two juvenile co-defendants entered a residence in Lehman Township, by prying open a basement window with a crowbar. Once inside Correra and his co-defendant’s took numerous pieces of personal property including, a DVD player, sling shot, and compass knife set.

John Jagger, 45, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to 6 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  On February 14, 2011 on Rt 6 & 402 in Blooming Grove Township, Jagger was found to be driving under the influence and being incapable of safely driving his vehicle.

Frank Mason, 24, of Pittston, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crimes of Criminal Mischief, and Harassment. On January 3, 2011, Mason kicked another person and a 42” LCD Television in Lehman Township.

Michelle Greene, 47, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 10 to 24 months, and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Access Device Fraud. On March 1, 2011, at the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township, Greene used another person’s Visa card to purchase merchandise without her permission.

Michelle Mayfield, 24, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 14 months to 5 years and ordered to pay a fine of $750 for the crime of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. On three separate occasions between March 31, 2011 and April 13, 2011, Mayfield delivered heroin to an undercover police officer in Westfall and Dingman Township.

Alexander Roy, 24, of Hawley, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 1 to 12 months, ordered to pay a fine of $500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 6 months for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession with Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia. On August 16, 2010, Roy was found in possession of cocaine, 3 multi-colored glass pipes, and 2 grinders in Lackawaxen Township.

Heather Sartell, 30, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 159 days to 1 year followed by an additional year of probation, ordered to pay a fine of $900 and had her driver’s license suspended for 6 months for the crimes of Theft by Unlawful Taking, Retail Theft, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unsworn Falsification. Between November and December 2009, Sartell took numerous pieces of jewelry from a residence in Delaware Township. On January 29, 2011, at the Blooming Grove State Police Barracks in Blooming Grove Township, Sartell made a false written statement saying that someone had stolen her prescription medication when in fact the medication was not stolen. Sartell was then found in possession of heroin. On March 29, 2011, at the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township, Sartell took numerous items without paying the full retail value.

Kennieth Meininger, 37, of Milford, PA was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Bad Check. On January 5, 2011, Meininger issued a check to a business in Westfall Township knowing it would not be honored by his bank.
