Three Pike burglaries, one theft, under investigation

PIKE COUNTY – Police are investigating a burglary in which copper pipe was taken from a residence in the Millpond area of Saw Creek.  Faucets were removed from the sinks and showers, along with pipe from the walls.

The burglary happened sometime between August 22 and September 2.

An apparently unrelated burglary is under investigation in Shohola.  Police say a residence at 111 Walker Lake Road appears to have been broken into sometime between June 20 and August 28.

A third apparent burglary, also not believed connected to the others, happened at a residence in Tanbark Road, Laurel Lane, in Greene Township.  A Playstation system, about 20 games and a Crossman pellet gun were taken.  Entry was through a rear basement window.

A fourth incident, in which a home was not broken into, was reported in Lackawaxen Township.  About $400 worth of siding was taken from outside a home in Tinkwig.

Anyone with information on any of the incidents is asked to call state police at 570-226-5718.
