HARRISBURG – Today’s hearing will be the closest to the Poconos, and Monroe County, fractured by six senate districts

HARRISBURG - A public hearing of the 2011 Legislative Reapportionment Commission of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be today, 11:00 a.m. in the Lehigh County Government Center, 17 South Seventh Street, 1st Floor, Public Hearing Room, Allentown.  The hearing will be the closest one to the Poconos, including Monroe County, which is split into six senate districts.

The purpose of this hearing is to invite testimony regarding issues of state-wide importance, in reapportioning the House and Senate districts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
