STROUDSBURG – Michael Parrish was to find out, Monday morning, whether he would die, or spend his life in prison, for the murder of an estranged girlfriend and their infant son.  Instead, Parrish withdrew his plea and will go to trial.

Parrish, of Effort, is accused of shooting Victoria Adams, and Sidney, 18 months, to death, in a jealous rage. 

Parrish first tried to plead guilty in April of 2010.  The judge rejected that plea, but in July 2010, accepted a plea.

No date has been set for a trial.
