PARSIPPANY NJ – A Dingmans Ferry man was killed in a one-car crash on Interstate 280 in eastern New Jersey, Saturday morning.

Police say Jason Gavins, 28, ran off the road and struck a tree, at about 6:45 a.m.  Gavins was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

NJ state police are still investigating the crash.  Speed reportedly may have been a factor.
