COOLBAUGH TWP – Police have arrested man accused of attempting to rape one teen and assaulting two others in a Tobyhanna residence.

Police were called, on Saturday, to 8714 Country Place Drive, for a report of a naked man in the residence, attempting to have sex with a 15-year-old female.  As residents of the house were attempting to eject the suspect, he allegedly struck at least one other person.

Police arrested Shamale Stephens, 20.  He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail on multiple charges that include attempted rape, unlawful contact with a minor and burglary, all felonies, along with several misdemeanors.
