In-school TV newscast noted for 20 years

Rear (L-R): School Board President John Wroblewski,
Pearce, Siegel, Banach, with four current DVETV members

SHOHOLA – Delaware Valley School Board Director Zach Pearce, a former member of DVETV, read a proclamation congratulating DVETV and leaders Sharon Siegel and Terri Banach for 20 years of news reporting in the Delaware Valley Elementary School.

DVETV was an idea from former DVE principal Sonya Cole. In the past 20 years the students have gone off campus to interview authors, politicians and sports figures among others.

There are presently 1,040 former DVE students who have participated in the DVETV program ranging in ages 10 to 37 years old.

The DVETV program was honored at a recent school board meeting.
