DINGMANS FERRY – A case that began when an observant detective in Sweden noticed a Pike County address on an envelope in child pornography images, has taken another turn.  State authorities have now charged Michael Bonsignore, 45, with two counts of child rape and other serious crimes.

Bonsignore was arraigned Monday on the latest charged and ordered held in the Pike County Jail in lieu $250,000 bail. 

Bonsignore previously pled guilty to federal child porn charges. 

The investigation has been lengthy, which is why state charges were not filed until now.
