MILFORD - Pike County Light & Power interrupted electric service to the Boro of Milford for a short time late Monday night to safely replace a key utility pole that has been found to be defective.  The outage was scheduled to begin tonight at approximately 11 p.m.,  and was expected to last no more than three hours.  About 2,300 customers were affected.   PCLP attempted to reach all by phone.

PCLP said the defective pole required immediate replacement to help provide electric service reliability.
