MILFORD – The following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen: Joseph Smallwood, 22, of Newfoundland, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 2 to 6 years and ordered to pay a fine of $2,000 for the crimes of Statutory Sexual Assault and Corruption of Minors. Between September and December of 2011, Smallwood had sexual intercourse on at least two occasions with a girl under the age of 16, in Greene Township. Amiello Amato, 26, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 3 months to 1 year and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crimes of Retail Theft and False Identification to Law Enforcement. On March 12, 2012, at a business in Matamoras Borough, Amato took various items without paying the full retail value. When officers asked for his name and date of birth, Amato told officers another name. Stefan Kefallinos, 27, of Greentown, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 120 days to 1 year and 11 ½ months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,700, and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and Possession with Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia. On August 31, 2011 in Greene Township, Kefallinos was found in possession of glassine baggies, and 3 syringes. In a separate incident on November 5, 2011, was found to be driving under the influence of heroin in Greene Township. Edgardo Caraballo, 28, of Bronx, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 2 months and 15 days to 23 months and ordered to pay a fine of $700 for the crimes of Access Device Fraud and Theft by Unlawful Taking. On July 4, 2011, Caraballo took a credit card from another person and used it at numerous businesses in Westfall Township. Ana Morales, 44, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 for the crime of Retail Theft. On February 6, 2012, Morales took numerous items from a business in Westfall Township without paying the full retail value of $85.38. Steven Werner, 22, of Scranton, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On July 24, 2010, Werner drove his vehicle off Raymondskill Road in Dingman Township striking a tree. Werner refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the amount of alcohol in his blood. Henry Masker, 41, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crimes of Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia and Harassment. On June 8, 2007, Masker was found in possession of a marihuana bowl and pipe, and shoved another person in Matamoras Borough. David Twaskas, 32, of Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 3 to 6 years, ordered to pay a fine of $750 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Theft by Unlawful Taking. On June 19, 2009 in Greene Township, Twaskas sold 20.4 grams of marihuana to an undercover police officer for $140 in U.S. Currency. On June 19 and June 23, 2011, Twaskas took $300 that belonged another person.
The following criminal sentence was issued by Pike County Judge Gregory Chelak: Brian Duffy, 40, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 1 to 5 years for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and the motor vehicle violation of Driver’s required to be Licensed, ordered to pay a fine of $1,700 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months. On July 10, 2011, in Delaware Township, Duffy was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .13%.
