Pipeline employee charged with stealing $300K worth of steel plates |

BERLIN TWP – Police say an Oklahoma man, employed as a superintendent on a pipeline project in northeast Pennsylvania, stole almost $300,000 worth of steel road plates and sold them for scrap. George Doll, 58, of Yale, OK, was arrested on Tuesday on charges that include theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He is free on unsecured $50,000 bail. Doll allegedly took about 60 8 by 20 foot road plates from a company a Route 652 site operated by Henlkes and McCoy, Inc., of Blue Bell PA. |
