STROUD TWP – A woman who allegedly set fire to her mother’s house while cooking meth in the basement, is now under arrest.

Rachel Wasinewski, 32, was arrested a week ago in Maryland, and is now in the Monroe County jail, in lieu of $50,000 bail.   She is charged with arson and other crimes.

Police allege Wasinewski cause an explosion while preparing meth in the basement of her mother’s home in Pine Avenue.
