DINGMAN TWP - Pike County businessman Phil Scollo filed his nominating petitions in Harrisburg Tuesday and is expected to face U.S. Representative Tom Marino in the November general election. No other Democratic candidates are expected to file.

"For too long, we’ve seen a system that is rigged against the little guy," said Scollo. "I'm in this race because we need someone in Washington fighting for the rest of us. Republicans, Independents, and Democrats alike are angry at Washington."

Scollo said he is running for Congress “… to represent the seniors who live on limited incomes and the families who work hard to make ends meet. The system hasn't been working for most Americans—regardless of political party—for far too long."
