MATAMORAS - The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department today announced seat-belt enforcement activities as part of a teen-driver safety enforcement mobilization, through March 4. The law enforcement activities will be conducted at or near the Delaware Valley High School Campus, Routes 6&209 and other roadways in Westfall Township and Matamoras Borough.

The enforcement, coupled with educational outreach efforts, will raise awareness of the teen driver law that went into effect in December. The primary law states all vehicle occupants under 18 must wear a seat belt.
