EAST STROUDSBURG – A man found dead in an East Stroudsburg hotel room may have committed suicide by drinking cyanide.  The man was found dead in a second floor room at the Budget Inn, by hotel staff, who also found a bottle, with a note reading “do not touch, this is cyanide”.

The man, from Florham Park NJ, checked in Wednesday afternoon and was found dead Thursday morning.  Police are not releasing the victim’s name, pending notification of relatives.

Police do not suspect foul play.

A hazmat team was called to deal with the chemical.
