Man sentenced to jail for terroristic threats with a vehicle |

MILFORD - Joshua Clemens, 21, of Newfoundland, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 2 to 23 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,700 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Terroristic Threats, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Criminal Mischief, and Driving while Operating Privileges are Suspended. On August 27, 2011 in Greene Township, Clemens threatened to run two other people over and smashed the windshield of a vehicle. Several other sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen, most involving driving under the influence: Kyle Young, 25, of Tafton, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 48 hours to 6 months, had his driver’s license suspended for 1 year and was ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On September 18, 2011, on SR6 in Palmyra Township, Young was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .114%. Jenafer Boone, 35, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Intermediate Punishment Program for 5 years with 30 days of incarceration and 90 days of electronic monitoring, ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 and had her driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On September 18, 2011, Boone was stopped at a DUI checkpoint in Matamoras Borough and refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the alcohol concentration on her breath. Joseph Storm, 26, of Plymouth Township, PA sentenced to the Intermediate Punishment Program for 5 years with 30 days of incarceration and 90 days of electronic monitoring, ordered to pay a fine of $1,800 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, and Unauthorized use of an Automobile. On July 23, 2011, at the Wilsonville Campground in Palmyra Township, Storm took another persons’ John Deer ATV and drove it into a fire ring while under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .20%. Matthew Haug, 26, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On August 26, 2010, on SR 739 in Dingman Township, Haug was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .174%. Damian Featherman, 21, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 1 month and 11 days to 23 months, and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 for the crimes of Simple Assault, and Theft by Unlawful Taking. Between January 8, 2008 and February 1, 2009, Featherman did take numerous Hummel and Goeble figurines from another in Milford Township. In a separate incident on March 8, 2009, Featherman placed another person in a chokehold and struck him numerous times causing bodily injury. Maria Swenson, 54, of East Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 6 months, had her driver’s license suspended for 1 years and was ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On February 17, 2011, Swenson drove her vehicle off the road in Lehman Township and was found to be driving under the influence. Her blood alcohol level was .26%. Steven Carota, 27, Lords Valley, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 3 to 6 months to be served consecutively to the present sentencing he is already serving for a total aggregate sentence of 13 to 30 months followed by 1 year of probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $200 for the crime of Simple Assault. On July 10, 2011, Carota punched another person in the face and pushed her to the ground causing bodily injury in Dingman Township. Alan Tyler, 23, of Matamoras, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 70 days to 1 year followed by an additional year of probation, and was ordered to pay a fine of $600 for the crimes of Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. On September 30, 2011, in Matamoras Borough, Tyler took a saw, nail gun, and air compressor without permission. In a separate incident between November 18 and 20, 2011, Tyler took copper piping, a brass water heater, copper adapter, and brass boiling pan with out permission. He was also found in possession of 2 needles, two spoons, and numerous plastic baggies used to store heroin in Matamoras Borough. Heidi Hoskins, 41, of Wilkes Barre, PA was sentenced to 12 months of probation, and ordered to pay 200 for the crime of Default in Required Appearances. On July 15, 2011, Hoskins failed to show up at the Pike County Correctional Facility for the execution of a sentence as ordered by Court. |
