STROUDSBURG/MILFORD – The new boards of county commissioners in both Monroe and Pike counties held their first meetings Tuesday. 

Newly-elected John Moyer will chair the Monroe commissioners and the other newcomer, Charles Garris is vice chair.  Both are republicans.  They join holdover Democrat Suzanne McCool.

In Pike County, Republican Matt Osterberg joined long-time Commissioners Rich Caridi, a Republican, and Democrat Karl Wagner.  Caridi remains chairman for 2012.
